From Barbourville, Kentucky, Coach Bargo graduated from Barbourville High School in 2016 then attended Eastern Kentucky University. During his time at EKU, Bargo worked for the EKU Men's Basketball Program for four seasons, including working under 2020 Ohio Valley Conference's Coach of the Year A.W. Hamilton. During his time with the EKU Men's Basketball Program, Coach Bargo was a part of multiple statistical achievements with the program, including coaching EKU's all-time leading scorer and shot blocker Nick Mayo. EKU also top 10 in points per game and steals per game.
Bargo graduated from EKU in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and is currently in pursuit of a Masters in Sports Administration from EKU. Parents are Michael and Pam Bargo. Coach Bargo's goal in coaching is to help as many student-athletes achieve their goals and bring the best out of them both on the court and off the court.Â
