2025–26 Season
Benjamin Parsons began his collegiate golf career at Berea College during the 2025–26 season as a freshman. A Brooksville, Kentucky, native and Bracken County High School graduate, Parsons joined the Mountaineers and quickly established himself as one of the team's top golfers during his first collegiate season. Berea lists Parsons as a freshman on its 2025–26 men's golf roster.
Parsons made an impressive collegiate debut at the Maggie Mountain Invitational in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He posted rounds of +13 and +9, finishing with a two-round total of +22. He finished just one stroke behind teammate Isaiah Newby and was the second-highest finisher for Berea at the season-opening tournament.
Parsons continued his strong play at the Forest Hills Invitational in Richmond, Indiana. He finished 25th overall, which was the highest Berea finish in the previous two years. Parsons shot +11 in the first round and +10 in the second, giving him a two-round total of +21.
At the Heartland Conference Preview at Boone's Trace National Golf Club, Parsons again produced one of Berea's better individual performances. He finished tied for 41st overall, shooting +13 in the first round and +11 in the second for a total of +24. He competed through difficult second-round conditions that included pouring rain and wind gusts reaching 30–40 mph.
Parsons continued competing during the spring portion of the season. At the Alice Lloyd College Spring Invitational, he finished tied for 46th, shooting +11 and +12 for a two-round total of +23. He was once again the leading Berea golfer in the tournament.
Parsons saved one of his best performances for the Heartland Conference Championships, hosted by Berea College at Boone's Trace National Golf Club. He finished 24th overall, leading the Mountaineers with rounds of +13, +6, and +5. His three-round total of +24 was the best individual score on the Berea team and represented a strong finish to his freshman campaign.
