2022–23 — Freshman
Jiang began his Berea tennis career as a freshman in the 2022–23 season. He had an impressive start to his collegiate career and was named the Collegiate Conference of the South Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week on April 4, 2023. During matches against LaGrange College, Jiang defeated Zach Neighbors in No. 6 singles, winning 6–1, 6–1. He also teamed with Mike Mecham to win an No. 3 doubles match, 8–6. In a second match against LaGrange that day, Jiang defeated Neighbors again, this time 8–0.
Berea's 2022–23 season recap reported that Jiang finished second on the team with two singles victories and also recorded two doubles victories, one with Mike Mecham and another with Bek Rakhimov. His Rookie of the Week honor was his first weekly conference award.
2023–24 — Sophomore
During the 2023–24 season, Jiang continued competing for Berea as a sophomore. The official Berea Athletics roster lists him as a sophomore and again identifies him as being from Shelby, North Carolina, and Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy.
2024–25 — Junior
Jiang returned for the 2024–25 season as a junior. Berea's official roster lists him as a junior and shows him continuing to compete for the men's tennis program under head coach Rich Dodd.
2025–26 — Senior
Jiang entered the 2025–26 season as a senior and was one of the returning players on the Berea men's tennis roster. During Week 1 against Anderson University, Jiang partnered with Zyn Hacker in the No. 1 doubles match, where they lost 6–2. Jiang also competed in singles and lost 6–3, 6–3.

Nathan Jiang's Berea College tennis career spanned four seasons, from his freshman year in 2022–23 through his senior year in 2025–26.
