Zyn Hacker began his Berea College tennis career as a freshman during the 2025–26 season. He was part of the Berea men’s tennis lineup in both singles and doubles competition. The official Berea Athletics roster lists Hacker as a freshman from Garrard County, Kentucky, and names Rich Dodd as the head coach. In the team's Week 1 match up against Anderson University, Hacker competed alongside Nathan Jiang in the No. 1 doubles match. The pair fell 6–2. Hacker also competed in singles, where he played a 6–1, 6–0 match.

During Week 2 against Hanover College, Hacker again competed in doubles with Nathan Jiang, with the pair falling 6–0. He also played a singles match, finishing 0–6, 0–6. 

Hacker's freshman season marked the beginning of his collegiate tennis career at Berea College, giving him experience competing in both singles and doubles at the collegiate level.
