Coach Daniels joined the Berea College Softball program in the fall of 2018. Coach Daniels is in charge of the outfield and assists with individual hitting instruction and player offensive development.
Prior to joining the staff at Berea, he was a Head Coach in the Jinx Softball Organization (2013-2017). During this time, Coach Daniels led his Jinx 2022 team to (2) World Series championships, (1) World Series runner-up finish (2021 World Series competition) and a 2017 Kentucky Youth Softball Nationals semifinals finish.
Coach Daniels is a 1997 graduate of Bell County High School, where he played basketball and was a pre-season Honorable Mention All-American in 1997. Coach Daniels earned a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Eastern Kentucky University and a Masters of Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky (2008).
Coach Daniels enjoys spending time with his wife Angie, daughter Macie and son Lukas. He particularly enjoys watching them play middle school and high school sports.
