The 25 runs scored are particularly notable. Hudson was one of Berea's primary run producers despite having only five RBIs himself, indicating that he frequently got on base and then scored for the Mountaineers. His 10-for-10 stolen-base record also shows that he was very effective on the basepaths.
A very good stretch at the plate
Berea's statistics show Hudson had five multi-hit games, including two three-hit games. His longest hitting streak was seven games, and his longest streak of reaching base was eight games.
He also recorded one multi-RBI game during the season.
The Berea weekly recaps highlight several of his contributions. Against Centre, Hudson had two hits and scored a run. Against Rose-Hulman later that weekend, he added a hit, drew a walk and scored Berea's lone run.
In the March 28 win over Bluffton, Hudson was particularly productive: Berea's recap credits him with three hits, two runs scored, a double, an RBI, and a stolen base in the Mountaineers' 10–8 victory.
