Hannah Hisle enters her second year with the Mountaineers as the Director of Operations and Assistant Coach. This is her first year helping coach the horizontal jumps.
"I'm thrilled to have Hannah on our staff here at Berea," Thomas said. "She is a relentless worker who keeps our entire cross country and track and field programs running smoothly and efficiently. She is organized and pays attention to every detail. She will be a critical part of our success here at Berea."
Hisle is a Mountaineer alum and former student-athlete herself. Graduating from Berea College in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in both English and Communications. She was a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communications Honors Society. Hisle also studied Studio Art at Berea and held a labor position with the Alumni, Communications & Philanthropy team, where she now works full time as a Donor Experiences Associate. With the Mountaineers, she will oversee the track & field and cross country program's day-to-day logistics and play an integral role in coordinating team travel.
As a student-athlete at Berea from 2019-2023, Hisle was a sprinter and jumper. She finished her career as a three-year letter winner and with a CCS Silver medal (2023 4x1). Hannah holds four top-10 marks for the Mountaineers in the indoor and outdoor long jump, the 4x100 Meter Relay, and the 4x200 Meter Relay. She began competing in track and field at age 11 and is driven by her passion for the sport and the connections it fosters. As a former Berea student-athlete, Hisle’s goal is to be an encouraging voice of support for the athletes as they navigate the uniqueness of Berea.
A native of Berea, KY. Hisle graduated from Madison Southern in 2019.
