Jarrett Blankenship

Jarrett Blankenship was named Head Athletic Trainer at Berea College in 2025. Jarrett began his athletic training career after earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Wesleyan University in 2020, where he was recognized with the Hester Endowed Scholarship for Athletic Training Excellence. He completed his Master of Science in Mental Health and Wellness at Grand Canyon University in 2024.

Prior to joining Berea, Jarrett served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Austin College from July 2024 to June 2025. His previous experience also includes over two years as the Head Athletic Trainer at Ranger College, along with a stint working with the Pulaski River Turtles in the Minor League Baseball Appalachian League. Jarrett’s diverse background encompasses both collegiate and professional sports medicine, which has provided him with a well-rounded perspective on athlete health and performance.

Outside of work, Jarrett is passionate about sports and enjoys playing ice hockey. He looks forward to supporting Berea’s student-athletes and contributing to their success on and off the field.

Jarrett and his wife, Maddy reside in Richmond, KY.
