Berea, KY- The women's basketball team welcomed Covenant College to the Seabury Center on February 17, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. for the quarterfinal game in the USA South Conference Tournament. In the end the Mountaineers defeated the Scots with a final score of 78-66.  This win will advance the Mountaineers to the semifinals 

At halftime Berea led Covenant 39-33. Bri Lanham led the first half with 13 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Zacchea Small and Jaime Roberts also added 6 points in the first half as well. Berea shot 47 percent from the field and committed 7 turnovers in the first half.

The Mountaineers successfully held off the Scots second half and finished with a final score of 78-66 Overall, Berea shot 45.9 percent from the field and 57.1 percent from the line.  The Mountaineers were led by Bri Lanham with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Adriana Williams also added 19 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.  Nakeisha Greene led the Mountaineers under the glass pulling in 10 rebounds.

The Mountaineers will now advance to the Semi-finals where they will take on Ferrum College in Greensboro, NC.  Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00pm
