Pippa Passes, Kentucky – The Berea College softball team traveled to Alice Lloyd this past Tuesday for a doubleheader. The Mountaineers were able to sweep the Eagles to bring their record to 4-14 for the year.  

Berea College beat Alice Lloyd College 8-2 in the first game of the day. The Mountaineers picked up 9 hits during this game which led to the win over the Eagles. Howard picked up the win in the circle. Nash led the Mountaineers with three hits including a homerun, followed by Setters with 2 hits.

The Mountaineers beat the Eagles 13-0 in five innings during the second game of the day. The Mountaineers gathered 12 hits during this game compared to the Eagles 5 hits. Howard picked up the win in the circle. Nash and Howard picked up homeruns during this game.

The Mountaineers will be back in action Saturday March 24^th when they take on Wesleyan College in Georgia with the first game scheduled for 1:00pm.
