BREVARD, NC.- The Berea College Mountaineers traveled to USA South Conference rival Brevard College and fell 9-0
In doubles, the #1 doubles team of
Agnes Dotse and
Lisa Mangin dropped their match 9-0.
CJ Verbeck and
Grace Faiz, the #2 doubles put up a strong effort to win a set but fell 8-1. #3 doubles team
Stephanie Itumba and
Kaylee Jorgenson lost 8-0 in their match.
In singles, the Mountaineers did not fair well as they lost all of the singles matches, however, #1 singles
Agnes Dotse won 5 sets in her match to lose 6-2, 6-3, #2 singles CJ Verkbeck was able to win a set to lose 6-1, 6-0 and #3 singles
Lisa Mangin was able to win 2 sets and lost 6-1, 6-1.
The Mountaineers will be back in action March 7th, hosting Huntingdon College.
