Rome, GA-- On a sunny Saturday in Rome, GA, the Berea College Men's and Women's Track and Field Teams competed for the first time since 2019 in the Victor Ice Breaker Duals at Berry College. The Mountaineers set multiple new personal bests in their first competition since the COVID-19 Pandemic cut the 2020 season short.

Top Men's Performances
- Freshman
Caleb Wilson started the day off strong for the Mountaineers, posting a 7
th place finish in the Long Jump (5.95 meters).
-Sophomore
Noah Reasoner set a new personal best in the 5000-meter run (16:38.59) with a second-place finish in his heat and a ninth-place finish overall.
-Sophomore
Cameron Bridgeman posted a top three finish in the 400-meter dash as he took home the bronze with a time of 51.92 seconds.

Women's Top Performances
-Freshman Elise Kemp paced the Mountaineers in the Shot Put with a throw of 7.66 meters, good for tenth place.
-Meanwhile, on the track, Freshman Brenda Santos posted a fourteenth-place finish in the 100-meter dash in a time of 13.77 seconds.
