Box Score Franklin Indiana- The Berea College Men's Soccer team fell to Franklin College during an away game Sunday, with a final score of 2-0.
 
The Mountaineers had a strong start, displaying exceptional efforts on both ends of the field resulting in a scoreless first half. Although Franklin outshot our Mountaineers 7-4, junior goalkeeper Luis Macias had a spectacular half. The second half started off a little rough for the Mountaineers, the Grizzlies whipped in a nice cross that floated right into the goal within the first 10 minutes of the half. The Mountaineers stepped up though and defended very well the rest of the game but Franklin doubled their score on a screamer from outside the box in the 69^th minute. 

The Mountaineers will be back in action Tuesday, September 20 against Anderson University on the road.
