Rome, GA - The Berea College women's soccer team was unable to secure a win against Berry College on the road, losing by a final score of 8-1. Berry scored just one goal in the first half and led 1-0 at the break, but the Mountaineers struggled defensively throughout the second half allowing seven goals.
 
Freshman Alyssa Tittsworth (Oak Ridge, TN) was able to put one in the back of the net for Berea 51 minutes into the match.  Overall, the Mountaineers registered seven shots, eight saves, two corner kicks, and seven fouls in the contest.
 
Berea (2-7) will return to the pitch Wednesday against Asbury University in Wilmore, KY.  That match is slated for a 7:00 PM start.
