BEREA, Ky. - The Mountaineers lost their first game of the day against the Scots 10-4. The Scots jumped on the Mountaineers early putting up three runs in the first inning after a three-run homerun from Whitaker. The Mountaineers answered back scoring one run off an RBI single from freshman

Autumn Adams.
The Mountaineer offense was quiet over the next fpur innings as the Scots stretched their lead to 10-2 in the sixth inning. The Mountaineers attempted to rattle the bats scoring two runs in the final inning of the game with back-to-back doubles from seniors
Savannah Fallis and
Ashley Spencer.
The Mountaineers dropped their second game of the day against the Scots 14-3. The Scot bats were hot as they put up 12 runs on the Mountaineers in the first two innings of the game. The Mountaineers scored one run in the second inning with an RBI single from junior
Abby Vires. The scoring continued into the third inning as freshman
Madison Yates hit an RBI single scoring Fallis, bringing the score to 12-2 in the third inning.
Covenant put two additional runs on the board in the fourth inning with a two-run home run from Kay. The Mountaineer bats kept swinging as they scored another run in the fifth inning with an RBI single from junior
