Montgomery, AL - In an intense and hard-fought battle, the Berea's Men's basketball team showcased their resilience and determination, securing a remarkable 75-71 comeback victory over Huntingdon. Despite trailing 31-42 at halftime, the Mountaineers rallied during the second half with an inspiring display of skill and teamwork, ultimately outscoring Huntingdon 44-29 to clinch a crucial conference win.
Trey Minter emerged as a standout performer for Berea, leading the team with 24 points, while Demetris Phillips delivered a stellar double-double performance, contributing 21 points and securing 10 rebounds. Joining Phillips in the double-double club, Bryce Riley also made a significant impact with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
The Mountaineers' are back in action at home January 19th on Friday against Piedmont University at 7:00 PM.
