Berea, Back In Action At Centre Indoor Showcase

DANVILLE, KY. - Track and Field travel to the newly built Centre Indoor Track and Field Facility to sharpen skills after a cold Winter break.

Running
60m dash
Kymiah Blair ran 7.86 the 60m dash preliminary while behind her was Jaleesa Herman (8.30) and Angel Patterson (8.88). Blair made it to the finals and was able to run 8.01. On the men's sides Calib Collier-Smith (7.23) David Emeka-Ibe (7.45) and Narquise Sneed (7.66) all competed in the 60m dash pre-lims

200m 
Narquise Sneed (25.08) and Jeffery Ozor (24.09) competed with fierce competition in the 200m dash

One Mile Run
Madison Stonestreet continues her dominance in distance by setting an all-time mark in the one mile run with a time of 5:20.49 placing fourth overall on the day.

400m
Brianna Dowell ran a 1:06.51 to start her 400m indoor campaign. For the men, Arphaxad Nyabuto ran a time of 56.07.

800m 
Kristin Fichli dominates her 800 with a time of 2:30.38. Behind her was freshman standout Muhorakeye Joyeuse (2.41.40), junior Liberte Mack (2:44.91), freshman Peyton Potts 2:44.46 and freshman Chrystal Cornwell (2:44.76). Larry Branch jogged his way into an all-time personal best in the 800m with a time of 2:08.38. Dillon Gregg who moved up un distance this year has also gained a new personal best in the 800 with a time of 2:25.94. Freshman Enock Sadiki followed closely behind with a time of 2:30.94.

1000m 
Jonathan Bolanos tested his speed in the 1000m discipline. His recorded time was 2:50.85

Relay
The women's 4x4 was led off Junior Brianna Dowell. Cornwell, Potts and Joyeuse finished with a time of 4:36.05. The men placed 9th with a time of 3:42.76 behind Wilson, Ozor, Nyabuto, and Emeka-Ibe

Field
Shot Put
Elise Kemp started off with a 9.17m in the first round. Abigail Hockstock (8.52m) Makayla Wilson (8.40m) Alyssa Bell (7.73m) and Kyonna Ross (7.45m) all followed Kemp being in the top 25 of competitors Kenguruka Promesse and Isaac Chavez tried their hand in the shot put as well with distances of 8.30m and 6.98m 

Weight Throw 
Kemp also led the team in the women's weight throw. With her 11.15m throw she was able to capture 13th.Hockstock was right behind her with a 10.59m. Ross (9.59) and Bell (8.66) rounded out the top 25 for this event. Anthony Boggs, Kenguruka Promesse and Isaac Chavez had a tough time getting on pace with marks of 7.10m, 7.71 and 4.23m respectively 

Long Jump
Larry Branch recorded a safe jump on his second attempt with a mark of 6.14m. Caleb Wilson and DeMarcus Smith finished next to each other in placement with marks of 5.57m and 5.47m.

Triple Jump
Caleb Wilson hopped, skipped and jumped a solid 12.24m of a short approach.
