HANOVER, IN – The Berea College Mountaineers faced a formidable Hanover team, suffering a tough 0-10 loss at the Hanover Soccer Complex.
Berea managed to record two shots during the match, with only one on target, while Hanover dominated offensively, firing 37 shots, 25 of which were on target. Goalkeeper
Kyla Simmons put forth a commendable effort, making 13 saves; however, Hanover's offensive power proved overwhelming. The home team scored four goals in the first half and added six more in the second half. Additionally, Hanover earned 12 corner kicks compared to Berea's solitary attempt.
The Berea women's soccer team will look to rebound in their next match at home against Earlham College on October 23 at 6 PM.
