WILMORE, KY - On Thursday night, the Berea Mountaineers traveled to face the Covenant Scots. The Mountaineers encountered a challenging game, losing the first set decisively at 25-13. Despite efforts to rally in the second set, they fell short with a score of 26-24. The third set also concluded in favor of Covenant, with a final score of 25-16.
Despite the loss, the Mountaineers recorded some notable individual performances.
Adrianna Ocasio Fonseca led the team with 8 kills, while
Alexis McCullough contributed 6 and
Miranda Wennhold added 5. Defensively,
Amelie Cora collected 13 digs, followed closely by
Deanna De La Torre with 12 digs and
Idymel Ayala Rivera with 9 digs.
