After a back-and-forth start, Bryce Riley ignited the Mountaineers with a three-pointer, followed by Demetris Phillips sinking two free throws to give Berea a 13-7 lead. Marquis Mackey and Trey Minter also contributed, hitting consecutive three-pointers on back-to-back drives.
As the first half progressed, Riley and Phillips combined for 6 straight points, maintaining momentum before Maryville responded with a three-pointer. To close the half, Ja'Rel Montgomery hit a crucial three, sending Berea into halftime with a narrow lead of 43-41.

Although Maryville attempted to close the gap, key contributions from Trey Minter—including another three-pointer and free throws—secured Berea's victory in the final moments.
