LOUISVILLE, KY - Women destroy two more records at the PNC Penny Lyles Invitational including distance and relay records.
The Mountaineers test their might against higher competition at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational in Lexington Kentucky. With two school records to come from the meet, you can say it was a success.

4x400m: Women lower the indoor record by multiple seconds. Thanks to
Kymiah Blair,
Liberte Mack,
Kristin Fischli and
Jerneisha Lewis who ran a combined time of 4:09.46
5000m: Madison Stonestreet ran an impressive record time of 17:52.93 to lowered the women's 5000m time by a considerable amount. Robert Immell also ran a sold time in the men's 5000m with a time of 15:31.73
60m Dash Qualifying: Kymiah Blair (7.96) and J.C. Ozor (7.26) both competed in the 60m dash qualifying heats but were unable to advance just missing the bubble times.
200m Dash: Kymiah Blair with a time of 28.18 again barely missed the bubble time to advance in the heats. Larry Branch (23.32) just out ran Ozor to get 22
nd.
800m run: The 800m duo of
Liberte Mack and
Kristin Fischli push each other to times of 2:36.64 and 2:31.31 to get 38
th and 35
th.
One Mille Run: Both
Muhorakeye Joyeuse and Jonathan Bolanos try their hand at the One Mile indoor distance. Joyeuse ran a best of 5:50.83 while Bolanos ran 4:58.82.
Long Jump: Jakeisha Lewis (4.81m) placed 17
th while her sister
Jerneisha Lewis placed 20
th with a jump of 4.48m. For the men, Larry Branch (6.19m) jumped good enough for 22
nd and Caleb Wilson(5.79m) jumped good enough for 25
th.
Triple Jump: Branch and Wilson came back for day two and competed in triple jump where they jumped 12.48m and 11.65m respectively.
Shot Put: Elise Kemp threw 8.88m while
Kyonna Ross threw 7.47m, good enough for 28
th and 30
th overall.
Weight Throw: Kemp and Ross returned for day two and hurled the wight throw an impressive 10.86m and 9.71m respectively.
