LOUISVILLE, KY- A few select performers set the track ablaze at this years installment of the Jim Vargo Invitational at Bellarmine.
In the 200m,
Christoff Mendy pushed himself to 8th overall with a time of 22.84. Behind him was
Larry Branch with a time of 23.64. Branch also competed in the men's triple jump where he jumped to a mark of 12.67m for an overall place of 6th.
The Mens 5000m included senior
Robert Immell, where he opened his outdoor season with a performance of 15:20.25. Both
Carah Anteck and
Madison Stonestreet did something spectacular, breaking program records in there respective events. Anteck broke the 10,000m record with a time of 39:17.33 and Stonestreet broke the 5,000m record with a time of 17:31.59.
All the athletes are set to compete tomorrow at the Landon Bond Classic at Berea College. Events start at 10am.
