Wilmore, KY- Wednesday the Mountaineers traveled to Asbury University and suffered a 1-3 loss. The Mountaineers had a strong first set, winning 25-17. However, they came up short, losing the next 3 sets but still played hard. Berea fell short on the statistic side compared to Asbury. In blocks Berea had 4 to Asbury's 6; Berea had 61 digs to their 69.

 

A few highlights from the game on the Mountaineer's side come from Alexis McCullough (13), Deanna De La Torre (10), and Jade Broka (4) combining a total of 27 kills. Assists for the Mountaineers were led by Idymel Ayala Rivera (25), Brianna Negron Torres (6), and Amelie Cora (5).
 
The Mountaineer's will be on the road to Danville, KY to play in Centre College's Colonel Invite on the 14^th of September.
