WOMEN'S T&F DELIVER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES AT MT. ST. JOSEPH COLLEGE INDOOR MEET
DELHI, OH – The Berea College women's track and field team go further into the new season with an exceptional performance at the Mt. St. Joseph College Indoor Meet, earning top finishes in various events.
Kymiah Blair was a standout performer, taking 1st place in the 60 Meter Dash Finals with a blazing time of 7.83 seconds, following her leading time of 7.90 seconds in the prelims. In the 200 Meter Dash,
Ashyia Maddickes stole the spotlight, finishing 1st with an impressive time of 26.89 seconds, while
Jakeisha Lewis added a strong 9th place finish in 29.03 seconds.
The 400 Meter Dash saw
Kristin Fischli earn a 2nd place finish with a time of 1:03.43, followed by
Peyton Potts, who secured 4th place with a time of 1:06.98.Berea's women's 4x400 Meter Relay team delivered a winning performance, crossing the finish line in 4:12.41 to claim 1st place.In field events,
Ashyia Maddickes and
Jakeisha Lewis dominated the Triple Jump, taking 1st and 2nd place with jumps of 34-07.00 and 32-05.75, respectively.

The women's team will continue their season at the Centre Indoor Showcase on Saturday, January 25, in Danville, KY, as they look to build on their strong start.
