The Berea College Men's Cross-Country team had their fourth meet of the 2025 season at the Jenna Strong CC Fall Classic in Wilmington, OH. with a determined performance in the 8K meet on October 17th. Going up against strong competition, the Mountaineers finished 17th overall with a team score of 418 points, recording a total time of 2:25:29 and an average of 29:05 per runner.
Sophomore Taiki Ogawa led the team with a 75th-place finish, crossing the line in 27:48.5. Junior Austin Gatewood was next for Berea, taking 106th place with a time of 28:26.8, followed closely by Freshman Kellen Young in 125th place at 28:58.6. Freshman Desire Itwitaho ran to 152nd place in 29:47.6, and Freshman Nathaniel Mitchell rounded out the scoring five, finishing 172nd in 30:27.8.
