The Berea College Men's Cross-Country team had their third meet of the 2025 season at the Lou Classic in Louisville, KY. with a determined performance in the 8K meet on October 4th. Going up against strong competition, the Mountaineers finished 18th overall with a team score of 461 points, recording a total time of 2:26:24 and an average of 29:16 per runner.
Sophomore Taiki Ogawa led the team with a 67th-place finish, crossing the line in 28:14.3. Freshman Kellen Young was next for Berea, taking 110th place with a time of 29:03.6, followed closely by Freshman Desire Itwitaho in 123rd at 29:29.2. Junior Austin Gatewood ran to 132nd place in 29:39.5, and Junior Arphaxad Nyabuto rounded out the scoring five, finishing 146th in 29:57.7.
