Berea Women's Basketball Falls in Close Battle Against Wilmington

After a short Thanksgiving break, the Berea College Women's Basketball team returned to action on Sunday afternoon, narrowly falling to Wilmington College 62–65. Despite a strong team performance and a late push, the Mountaineers came up just short in the final minutes. LynKaylah James recorded another double-double, finishing with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Joyce Mukalamusi provided a major spark with 14 points and 5 rebounds, while Atyia Moss added 11 points. London Sweeney delivered an impressive performance off the bench, scoring 10 points and 6 rebounds to keep Berea within striking distance.
 

Berea heads into conference play next week with two games:
• Wednesday, December 2 at 7 PM — Away vs. Hanover
• Saturday, December 6 at 1 PM — Home vs. Anderson
