Game 1: Berea vs. Carroll (Wis.)
Location: O'Fallon, IL
The Mountaineers faced Carroll University, falling short with a final score of 15-8. Berea started strong offensively, led by Fredison Rivera, who drove in four RBIs on two hits, while Marcelo Manrique hit a two-run homer, contributing four RBIs. After Carroll struck first with two runs in the opening inning, Berea responded in the second with a two-RBI single from Rivera. However, Carroll's offense erupted in the bottom of the second, scoring seven runs to take control.
