MEN'S T&F COMPETES AT JOHN GARTLAND INVITATIONAL 

TERRE HAUTE, IN – The Berea College men's track and field team put together solid performances at the John Gartland Invitational, earning key placements in competitive fields. 

Calib Collier-Smith led the Mountaineers with an outstanding run in the 200 Meter Dash, finishing 3rd with a time of 22.89 seconds. He also just missed the finals in the 60 Meter Dash, placing 10th in prelims with a time of 7.17 seconds. Robert Russell delivered a strong showing in the Long Jump, earning 10th place with a mark of 6.28 meters.

· Calib Collier-Smith | 3rd Place | 200 Meter Dash: 22.89 

· Calib Collier-Smith | 10th Place | 60 Meter Dash Prelims: 7.17 

· Robert Russell | 10th Place | Long Jump: 6.28m 

The men's team will look to build on these performances as they continue their indoor season and prepare for the upcoming HCAC Indoor Conference Championships in Anderson, IN on March 1.
