Asbury vs Berea (03/17)

Berea jumped out to an early lead but couldn't hold off Asbury's late surge, falling 12-7. The Mountaineers took an early 6-0 advantage through four innings, highlighted by a solo homer from M. Manrique in the first and a key two-RBI double by F. Rivera. T. Palmgren went 3-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base, and two runs scored. S. Ramon added two hits, an RBI, and a walk in a solid series performance. Despite a strong start, a rough fifth inning saw Asbury score eight runs, aided by defensive struggles and walks. W. Moran and Ni. Madrid relieved Moran but couldn't stop the rally. Berea scored once more in the eighth on a bases-loaded walk but fell short as Asbury's bullpen shut the door.

Berea vs Mt. St. Joseph (03/22)

Game 1:
The Mountaineers couldn't overcome an early push from Mt. St. Joseph, losing 6-4. Peter Torbicki led offensively with a 3-for-5 effort, including an RBI single and a run scored. Fredison Rivera added an RBI sac fly, while Aiden Wylie reached base four times, scored twice, and singled in the sixth. On the mound, Sean Galloway took the loss, allowing five runs over six innings with five strikeouts. Torbicki also pitched two scoreless relief innings. Berea outhit Mt. St. Joseph 8-8 but stranded 15 runners and couldn't capitalize on key moments.
Game 2:
Berea fell 17-6 in a high-scoring affair. Mt. St. Joseph scored 12 runs in the first four innings. Berea's rally in the fifth produced five runs, highlighted by a huge RBI triple from Tyler Yates and a two-RBI single from Torbicki. Emilio Zambrana added a two-run double, and Santiago Ramon an RBI single. Torbicki went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, and Yates had two hits, two extra-base hits, and a run scored. Starter Saul Gomez took the loss, giving up five earned runs in just over two innings. The bullpen allowed additional runs due to walks and errors. Berea scored in the fifth and seventh but couldn't close the gap.
