Men's T&F Posts Strong Performances at Centre Twilight
Danville, KY – April 18, 2025

The Berea College men's track and field team delivered several commendable performances at the Centre Twilight meet.

Sophomore Gloire Muzeba led the team with a 6th-place finish in the 200-meter dash, recording a time of 22.55 seconds. In the 400 meters, sophomore Austin Gatewood finished 4th with a time of 51.40 seconds, while fellow sophomore Arphaxad Nyabuto secured 7th place in 52.47 seconds.

Freshman Taiki Ogawa placed 7th in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:25.95. In the 5000 meters, freshman Hasel Perez-Garcia achieved a 6th-place finish with a time of 17:05.96.

Senior Quinncey Gibson competed in the 110-meter hurdles, finishing 5th with a time of 17.29 seconds.

The Mountaineers will next compete at the HCAC Outdoor Conference Championships on April 25, 2025, at Berea College Track.
