Athlete of the Week:
LynKaylah James (Bowling Green, Ky.) Berea College | Forward | Senior -
LynKaylah James recorded a double-double in all three games this week, accumulating a total of 73 points and 41 rebounds. Her outstanding performance contributed to the team's 2-1 record for the week.
Notable Performances:
- Sydney Sierota (Sellersburg, Ind.) Anderson University | Guard | Senior - Sydney Sierota filled the stat sheet as Anderson pulled out a 66-65 double overtime win against Transylvania, handing Transylvania just its third HCAC loss in six years. Sierota posted 20 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, and six steals against Transylvania. Anderson went 3-0 on the week. For the week, Sierota averaged 13.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 5.33 assists, and 3.67 steals per game.
- Madison Brown (Montpelier, Ohio) Bluffton University | Guard | Senior - Madison Brown helped Bluffton go 1-1 with its first HCAC win of the season on Saturday at Hanover. She led Bluffton with 19.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Brown also dished out five assists and picked up two steals. She scored a game-high 25 in the victory over the Panthers.
- Jordan Coon (Evansville, Ind.) Franklin College | Guard | Senior - Jordan Coon posted her third career double-double in Franklin's victory over Earlham, scoring a team-high 23 points and establishing a new career best with 13 rebounds. She also had three steals as Franklin forced 20 turnovers in the win.
- Emerson Vlcan (Greenwood, Ind.) Hanover College | Center | Freshman - Emerson Vlcan led Hanover against Bluffton. The freshman netted 13 points while pulling down nine rebounds and dishing out seven assists.
- Katelyn Fennell (Terre Haute, Ind.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Guard | Sophomore - Katelyn Fennell put together her best game of the season in Rose-Hulman's 80-75 loss to Berea. She scored a career-high 30 points, while adding five rebounds, one assist, two steals, and no turnovers. Fennell scored her 30 points on sensational shooting splits, shooting 11-for-15 (73.3 percent) from the floor, 3-for-4 (75.0 percent) at the free throw line, and a perfect 5-for-5 (100.0 percent) from three-point range.
