Baseball Recap: Mountaineers Battle in Series Against Regent University

The Berea College baseball team traveled to Virginia Beach, Virginia, for a four-game series against the Regent University Royals on March 6–7. The Mountaineers battled throughout the weekend and closed the series with a win in the final game.

Game 1: Mountaineers vs. Regent University

Berea opened the series on Friday evening but fell to Regent 10–3. The Royals jumped out to an early lead with three runs in the first inning and added six more in the third to take control of the game. Berea finished with five hits, including contributions from Ty Palmgren and Sebastian Roman. The Mountaineers were able to push across runs in the third and sixth innings but could not overcome Regent's early offensive surge.

Game 2: Mountaineers vs. Regent University

In the second game of the doubleheader Friday night, Berea lost 17–5.
