Mountaineers Drop Four Games, Prepare for Final Week of Season
Berea College softball played four games this week, going 0–4 in matchups against Transylvania University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Game 1: Mountaineers at Transylvania University (Game 1)
The Mountaineers opened the week on the road on Wednesday, April 22, facing Transylvania University. In Game 1, Berea fell 8–0.
Game 2: Mountaineers at Transylvania University (Game 2)
In the second game, the Mountaineers dropped a 9–1 decision, with Madison Howell driving in Berea's lone run.
Game 3: Mountaineers vs. Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (Game 1)
Berea returned home on Saturday, April 25, for Senior Day against Rose-Hulman. In Game 1, the Mountaineers fell 6–1, with Madison Howell recording an RBI and Candice Williams striking out six batters in the circle.
Game 4: Mountaineers vs. Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (Game 2)
In Game 2, Berea lost 13–3, as Emily Searcy, Josie Hollingsworth, and Jessyca Searcy each drove in a run.

Berea will close out the season with four games next week. The Mountaineers will host Mount St. Joseph on Tuesday, April 28, for a doubleheader at 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM, before traveling to face Hanover College on Saturday, May 2, with games scheduled for 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
