SOFTBALL WEEK 6 RECAP

Mountaineers Host Manchester University on Good Friday

Berea College softball hosted Manchester University for a Good Friday special on April 3.

Game 1: Mountaineers vs. Manchester University

In Game 1, the Mountaineers fell 9–3. Mackenzie Howell provided the offensive highlights of the game, scoring two RBIs and hitting a home run in the 6th inning. In the circle, Candice Williams recorded five strikeouts, showcasing her pitching skills despite the loss.

Game 2: Mountaineers vs. Manchester University

In Game 2, Berea dropped an 8–0 decision. Williams once again led the pitching effort, striking out three batters as the Mountaineers worked to limit Manchester's offensive production.

Up Next:

Berea will play four games next week, beginning with a home doubleheader against Tennessee Wesleyan University on Wednesday, April 8, at 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. The Mountaineers will then travel to face Bluffton University on Saturday, April 11, for a doubleheader scheduled at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
