Notable games
One of his better performances came against Anderson University on April 21. Mauney collected two hits and an RBI in the game. In the third inning, he singled and advanced to second, and later in the seventh he delivered an RBI single that scored Aidan Blaszkowski.
Against Manchester on May 2, Mauney had a particularly productive at-bat, hitting a two-run single to right-center that brought home Landen Griffey and Aidan Blaszkowski.
Berea's Week 6 recap also specifically mentions Mauney among the players who contributed hits during the team's games that week.
Defensive role
Mauney's biggest role was in the field. He was used extensively at infielder, and the 2026 box scores show him making plays around the infield throughout the season.
He also occasionally contributed on the mound. Against Centre on March 14, he pitched 1? innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 earned run, with one walk and one wild pitch.
