2024–25 Season
Zach Hudson began his collegiate golf career at Berea College during the 2024–25 season as a freshman. A Berea, Kentucky, native and Madison Southern High School graduate, Hudson joined the Mountaineers for their 2024–25 campaign and competed in tournaments throughout the fall and spring seasons.
Hudson competed in several tournaments during his freshman season, including the Alice Lloyd Fall Invite, HCAC Preview, Stateline Shootout, Beaver Fall Classic, Alice Lloyd Spring Invitational, Alice Lloyd College Tournament, and HCAC Championship. Berea's schedule included tournaments in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.

Hudson opened the season at the Maggie Mountain Invitational, where he posted rounds of 89 and 89, finishing with a two-round total of 178 (+38). The performance was one of Berea's stronger individual results at the season-opening tournament.
At the Stateline Shootout in September, Hudson shot +28 in the first round and +23 in the second, finishing with a two-round total of +51. He finished 88th overall in the tournament.
Hudson also competed at the Heartland Conference Preview at Boone's Trace National Golf Club in October. In difficult weather conditions, including heavy rain and wind gusts of 30–40 mph, he finished with a two-round total of +47.
Hudson finished the season at the Heartland Conference Championships, hosted by Berea College at Boone's Trace National Golf Club. He and teammate Dylan Howard tied for the team's final position with a three-day total of +82. The championship marked the conclusion of the Mountaineers' 2025–26 season.
