Berea College

Dewey Williams serves as the Grounds Superintendent at Berea College, managing the grounds department, campus waste management and recycling, moves, and campus event setup. Having spent most of his life in Berea, Kentucky, he initially began his career at Berea College as the Athletic Field Coordinator, where he managed the sports complex and maintained the landscape and playing surfaces.

Williams earned a B.S. in Agriculture and Natural Resources with a minor in Business from Berea College. While an undergraduate, he was a member of the Mountaineers Baseball team, competing as a student-athlete.

At Berea, Williams oversees the care of sustainable campus landscapes and athletic fields, maintaining high-quality playing surfaces and safe, aesthetically pleasing grounds across campus for student-athletes, the college community, and visitors.
