Springfield, Ohio - The Berea College Mountaineers women's cross country team placed seventh in the Wittenberg University Invitational on Saturday morning.
 
The Mountaineers finished with 177 total points and an average time of 2:16:07 minutes
 
Freshman Madison Stonestreet finished in tenth and first for the Mountaineers with a time of 24:25.3 minutes.
 
Other notable finishes are freshmen Carah Antek in 28^th (25:40.6), freshmen Brooke Donley in 61th (27:55.5), freshmen Leslie Estrada in 71th (29:01.5), junior Carolina Castillo-Ibarra in 73^rd (29:04.0), and sophomore Jasiella Grandy in 88^th (33:10.7).
 
The Mountaineers return to action on Sept.17th in the Mike and Mary Kay Johnson Classic in Berea, Kentucky.
