LaGrange, GA - In a nail-biting encounter, the Berea College women's basketball team emerged victorious over LaGrange with a final score of 61-60.
The contest showcased an intense back-and-forth battle, with Berea consistently making strides and LaGrange refusing to back down, constantly closing the gap. However, as the clock winded down, Berea managed to hold off a potential game-tying three-pointer from LaGrange. In a last-ditch effort, LaGrange secured a crucial rebound and scored two points, preventing the game from going into overtime and Berea successfully securing their 5th CCS victory.
Berea's victory was fueled by standout performances from key players. Drea Satori led the charge with an impressive 20 points and 10 rebounds. LynKaylah James also delivered a stellar performance with 16 points and an outstanding 17 rebounds. Atyia Moss also made significant contributions with 10 points, further solidifying Berea's hard-fought triumph.
Berea is back on Saturday against Huntington College in Montgomery, AL.
