BEREA, KY – The Berea Mountaineers faced a tough challenge against Anderson at the O.C. Lewis Gymnasium, ultimately losing in four sets with scores of 25-22, 24-26, 16-25, and 18-25.
Senior
Deanna De La Torre delivered a standout performance, leading the team with 17 kills and contributing 19 digs to bolster the defense.
Idymel Ayala Rivera played a crucial role as a playmaker, recording 32 assists and 13 digs.
Alexis McCullough added 6 kills and provided defensive support with 15 digs.
Nashaliz Garcia contributed with 5 kills, while
Amelie Cora anchored the back row, achieving a match-high 25 digs.
The Berea volleyball team will face Mount St. Joseph University at home on Saturday, November 2, at 1 PM.
