Berea College Finishes Strong on the Road

The men's basketball team returned to action on Sunday at Sewanee College. After a full week off, the Mountaineers got off to a slow start and trailed 36–34 going into halftime. However, in the second half, they came out firing, putting up nearly 50 points and securing an impressive 80–69 road victory. Junior Nate Barrow led the way with a game-high 15 points and 4 assists. Freshmen Zavian Douglass (14 points, 4 rebounds) and Zach Hudson (13 points, 2 rebounds) also made key contributions, while junior Jae'dyn Gist added 12 points and 3 boards.

The Mountaineers are back in action this Wednesday as they open conference play at home against Hanover College.
